There are many lessons we can learn from Martin Luther King. Here is one.
Martin Luther King Jr. was innovative with a clear vision of a better tomorrow. He showed us the importance of having a clear vision and following up on that vision. As we learn more about ourselves and others, we can:
1) hold a clear vision of the future that includes equality for all people. To do this, take time to reflect:
- What impact can we make to create more equality in the world?
- What can we say, think, or do that will lead ourselves, our families, or our communities to a better tomorrow?
- What can we learn or teach others?
2) take one or more steps each week to activate this vision.
Today, reflect on the action you can take today to make a better future for yourself, your family and your community.
