Do you ever take time to just breathe, especially in stressful situations? Get into a habit of relaxing, and taking deep breaths daily. Deep breathing allows you to take in more oxygen and release more carbon dioxide. Inhale the good qualities that you want or desire in your life and exhale what is no longer wanted or needed.
Also, by taking time to just breathe allows you to relax, reflect on what is going on at this moment in your life and it helps you to make sure you are moving in the direction of your best path.
Practicing deep breathing. Sit comfortably in a chair with your back straight. Breathe in through your nose, while expanding your abdominal 5-7 seconds. Your chest should move a little. Then, exhale, slowly, through your nose or mouth as you relax your tongue, mouth, and chest. Continue to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try to inhale enough so that your lower abdomen rises and falls. Count slowly as you exhale. During this process focus your mind on your breathing and nothing else.
